10/11 Maths & Sciences Teacher
A part-time position in a beautiful location 15 minutes from the CBD.
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our teaching community for 2025. Our personalised approach to teaching and learning seeks to equip our gifted students with the skills, knowledge, and understandings to maximise their potential. To facilitate such an approach, our class sizes are small, our pedagogical practices are dynamic and relevant to our students’ learning profiles, and our teaching team is collaborative and highly knowledgeable in Gifted Education.
The role of a Teacher at Dara is to contribute to our progressive culture in creating an outstanding learning environment, and will suit someone who is:
- passionate about student wellbeing and social and emotional support,
- passionate about differentiated curriculum and personalised, student-led learning,
- keen to gain experience in Gifted Education,
- interested in putting innovative teaching and learning approaches into practice,
- a team player and collaborative problem-solver.
This role is for a Mathematics & Sciences teacher at levels 10 & 11. Additional subjects at SACE Stage I or II, particularly AIF, EIF, or Auslan, would be an advantage. An understanding of Gifted Education practices is required, as well as a comprehensive understanding of curriculum differentiation and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
