Donations to the School
Dara School operates two (2) funds that have deductible Gift Recipient status with donations being tax deductible. Both funds play an extremely important role in the operation and future of the school. The funds are:
Donating to this fund is an active step in securing the future of our school for our students. Funds are used for the maintenance, refurbishment, and construction of new facilities to help improve the learning environment of our students. This is only possible with the ongoing support of parents, caregivers, and benefactors. Donations to this fund are entirely voluntary and can be made at any time by contacting the Business Manager.
A suggested donation of $100 per term is added to the fee invoice of enrolled families as a voluntary, tax-deductible sum.
The Scholarship Fund has been created with the long-term aim of being able to fund the Principal’s Equity Scholarships offered by Dara School, helping families with gifted students obtain the education that they may not have access to otherwise.
Currently, these scholarships are funded through the operational budget of the school. Donations to this fund can be made at any time by contacting the Business Manager.
