Classroom Teacher 2024
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our teaching community for 2024. Our personalised approach to teaching and learning seeks to equip our gifted students with the skills, knowledge, and understandings to maximise their potential. To facilitate such an approach, our class sizes are small, our pedagogical practices are dynamic and relevant to our students’ learning profiles, and our teaching team is collaborative and highly knowledgeable in Gifted Education.
Dara School is the only school in Australia specialising in the education of Gifted students. Every day is different and presents the opportunity to genuinely support the personal growth and wellbeing of our students and, in doing so, make a difference to the students and families which comprise the heart of the Dara community.
The role of the year 8 and 9 Teacher is to contribute to our progressive culture in creating an outstanding learning environment, with an emphasis on innovative teaching and learning approaches. An understanding of Gifted Education practices is required, as well as a comprehensive understanding of curriculum differentiation and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
Our children are exceptional. If you are an exceptional teacher and would like to work in a setting that provides high quality teaching and learning in a personalised manner, please apply.
