It can be challenging for time-poor educators to access these important pedagogies effectively, so this course will synthesise the research and its application in schools. Strategies for increasing learning outcomes for the diverse range of students in our classrooms will take the following approaches:
The Why: Scientific evidence
The What: The structure of the strategy
The How: Application in the classroom
Janet Farrall, a distinguished and highly experienced educator whose four decades of practice have ranged from the classroom to leadership, project management and consultancy, will present the workshops. She specialises in the education of highly able learners, dispositions for learning and differentiation for all learners, including the highly able.
This course is offered online to enable rural and remote educators to access the course. Educators will be equipped with workshop materials, PowerPoints and other learning aids.
No workshops will be offered in Term 1 to enable teachers to grapple with the uncertainties related to COVID. Please forward your Expression of Interest to secure your place and receive relevant resources to build your prior knowledge.
